About the National Child Care Development AssociationIn the already too busy lives of professionals in the child welfare business, why should you consider adding one more conference to your overflowing schedule? Because in this case, the shoe fits! The National Child Care Development Association is filled with development, public relations, and marketing professionals who are walking the same path you are, doing their best every day to serve children with specialized needs, including at-risk and troubled children and their families. Founded out of the need for contact with others involved in supporting child care organizations, the National Child Care Development Association offers participants the opportunity to network with development, public relations and marketing professionals, as well as volunteers and CEO’s, regarding the unique aspects of caring for children. NCCDA is not about big staffs, big budgets, or big egos. The average size of the public relations/development departments of our members is three staff members - although some members have no formal departments…public relations and development are simply another hat added to their list of responsibilities. What this organization is about is networking. Sharing ideas with others committed to this specialized field, offering support for the endless challenges, and gaining the skills necessary to meet our missions.
